How Much Does It Cost To Be Frozen A Day Cost Effective Frozen Raw Diet For Large Dogs?

Cost effective frozen raw diet for large dogs? - how much does it cost to be frozen a day

I fed my Boston Variety raw nature and is doing very good at it. 6 medallions eats for a day that will end up around $ 15 - $ 17 per week, depending on the protein. I also have a large dog, mixed race, about 50 pounds, I would like to start on raw food. Is there another brand that is more profitable? I prefer it more cooked food, as we are relatively new, this, and I'm probably not even mine.

I agree with Pete above. Doing it yourself is the right way.

It is fairly easy to do yourself, if you start and you can learn on the fly "to.

    It will save much money.

Buying in bulk, there will be even cheaper.

I fed my dog this evening ox cheeks for about $ 1AUD, you can not cheaper than that.

I have kangaroo meat in my local supermarket, Bio-$ 4 kg, which is enough for some restaurants. I offal or bodies of kg over 2 million.

I buy round, outdoor / Chicken steroids, etc., are looking especially if they are free to less than $ 2 per meal.

I buy bags of bait, sardines / pilchards / Mullie 4 U.S. dollars per bag, which lasts several weeks.

Bags I've also cut to $ 2.99-kg bags, bones with raw meat. Many bones are broken Shanks, neck and legs and can not be sold by the higher price of around 6-8kg. Here's a farmer, are a bag with 15 kg Roo queue for 10 $ .. Rocco eats a bone to 500gram for a meal, so that's 30 meals for $ 10! Cheap.

If you have a little help getting started, please send me an e-mail. I can give you some ideas on what I do is based.

Alternatively, say if you continue to receive different feed, where you ask yourself, if you buy in bulk you can get a discount.

    Good luck.

Add, I will price here in Australia, making the price I gave you a meal for less than a can of food * cheap dog.

The prices can be even cheaper.

  2. If you find a slaughterhouse or meat packing plant everywhere
conclude, my suggestion is go and ask,
If not you can buy meat regularly jump
fromthe. I used to do the same for many years. t coursei involved
I've cut, and freezer beef me
actually come to hate (including cow's stomach)
after some time. but this has saved me a lot of money
I could be what was to feed my dog quite sure
cool. Poultry are another possible source of supply, the same
farms. if it were not so,
add powdered vitamins and minerals to foods based on their
    Veterinarian is recommended.

  3. Probably not.

Step for about $ 60 - $ 80 per month to my two dogs a lab of 90 pounds and 50 pounds of feed via e-mail. Much less than I find gifts. You pay per month to feed a small dog.

I had to do a little research to join a few groups, and when you are ready, both on diets that do not begin to.

Dogster and Big Dogs veranda with excellent raw food groups that help, if needed.

I do not think you ever feel totally prepared until you try.

  4. You do not know where you live, but "Mountain Dog Food Company, Edmonton, Alberta, sells a large selection of frozen raw foods. I use some of its products for variety in the diet of young girls. Chicken have all, with or without vegetables., Chicken necks, turkey necks, turkey heart, lift the neck, neck of lamb, frozen tripe, etc.

The more profitable you will do. A packing house can sell the product in large quantities for much less than packaged products. Pre is good in terms of usability, but you must pay for this convenience. The local meat packers sold me 25 boxes of a pound of chicken backs and necks for less than 80cents a pound, but everything is frozen in one huge chunk, so I have half-thaw packaging in the quantities of food and freeze again. It is the staple food for the girls. A supermarket offers raw investors here and placed in the neck Orders Turkey fat, almost half the price of products from mountain areas. Butcher also brings into the stomach of chickens in bulk and hearts. I live in an area where raw food is bIG: many different places are attractive. Balancing the diet is not difficult, although various approaches, they are, I do not know as a vegetable, but the daily use and completely with Green Corns SeaMeal. You can probably reduce your bill in half of the container to make yourself.
